The star has handed over the entirety of his twenty-five thousand pound award prize money to the MVT, which works to preserve the United Kingdom's grassroots concert spaces.
He was given the prize on October 16 as his third album the album was named the outstanding release of the last 12 months.
The musician has decided to hand the money over to the Music Venues Trust, in recognition of the vital role local spots had in his early career.
"As an artist wouldn't be doing this success if it wasn't for all the gigs I performed around the region, and further afield, when I was just getting going," said Sam Fender. "These spaces are legendary, but they are in difficulty."
From early 2023 onward, at least 150 of these spaces have ceased operations – roughly 16 percent of the whole industry in the UK.
In the last year, well-known musicians such as Pulp, the group Coldplay, Katy Perry and Ed Sheeran have all aided the MVT in its attempts to support the industry, by including a small levy to their admission fees, which goes to help smaller concert halls.
Sam Fender also took part, generating more than £100,000 on his recent tour to assist thirty-eight grassroots venues across England, Scotland, and Wales.
The money assisted spaces that were facing possible closure due to challenges caused by water damage, blazes and personal losses, as well as regulatory hurdles, court cases and noise complaints.
Some locations received financial assistance in modernizing amenities and gear that directly benefitted artists and concertgoers.
"The notion that funds from performances in big venues backs the local stages, where it kicks off for performers like me, is just logical," Fender has stated.
He is among several artists to give his honor prize money to good deeds.

Also winners that year the group donated their award to a MS organization after a acquaintance was found to have the illness.
"The victory was sufficient," said artist the singer. "The cash was the extra but we didn't require the cherry, because we had the main prize. So our victory touched the lives of others."
Recently, the trust revealed it had saved a couple of small stages in that region, by placing them under public stewardship.
One venue in that area and the other in that location were purchased under the public acquisition program, which is backed by Arts Council England and enthusiasts who acquire "stakes" in the properties.
